Summer Fellowship Program

Program Description:

We are excited to recruit for our upcoming Summer Fellowship program. If you are passionate about making a tangible impact to support Asian American communities and want to join a supportive community of peers, this fellowship is for you!


We are recruiting for three project teams:

  • Podcast Fellows - Create and develop a podcast platform that interviews and shares the stories of Chinese American immigrants

  • Social Media Marketing & Public Relations Fellows - Grow Bridging Pacific’s social media presence and establish collaboration initiatives with like-minded organizations

  • Research & Content Creation Fellows - Enhance Bridging Pacific’s resource banks through the six key categories of resources and develop textual or visual content on resources for the Chinese American community


What you will gain through the Fellowship:

  • Skillset (depending on projects) - communication, qualitative research, writing, data collection and analysis, brand management, content development, and a lot more

  • Resume building & Network- this fellowship is designed to give students and young professionals exposure into the nonprofit sector and an opportunity to give back to the Asian American community through practicing various professional skills. Fellows are also able to jumpstart their college/professional path by closely working with college upperclassmen and recent college graduate founders

  • Leadership - Upon successful completion of the program, you may have the chance to join the organization’s executive team and help shape Bridging Pacific’s future

  • A community - you will meet incredible friends who care deeply about the immigrant community and build a good support network



  • Ideally you are currently a high school senior or first/second year college student

  • Have a strong passion for supporting the Asian American community

  • Be able to commit 5-20 hours/week and attend weekly meetings (on weekend)

  • Preferably have previous experience in the project teams you are interested in

  • Self-motivated to complete independent work and able to work collaboratively in an intimate team setting
